Scarlet Red PlayStation Launching April 27 (Update)
Vroom vroom!
We'll be the first to admit that when it comes to gadgets, we're not fussy about colors. Whether it's black, white, grey, pink, yellow, or blue, as long as it does what it's supposed to, we're not too pushed about the color. Still, like rental cars, we wouldn't ever turn down the chance to have our shiny new toy in our favorite color. Pretty soon, gamers in the UK purchasing the PlayStation 3 will have a new hue to consider.
According to Pocket-Lint, Sony will soon introduce a new PlayStation 3 for people with a penchant for scarlet red. Set to launch on April 27, the PS3 will be a little bit more expensive than the plain black version. Still, if you can't live without a red PS3 and are willing to fork over an extra £50 for the privilege of owning one, you'll be able to get your hands on one next week.
Amazon is taking pre-orders for the grand price of £249.99 for the 320GB model with matching red controllers. It's not yet clear if the red console, which was previously a Japanese exclusive, will come to North America, but we'll keep you posted.
[Update] Looks like the original date from Amazon was incorrect. The online retailer is now saying the console won't actually arrive until May 4. Looks like we'll be waiting another week for this lady in red.

stalker7d7 Or you can just paint the one you already own? If you don't know how to do it yourself, hire somebody. It will still be cheaper than buying a new one...Reply -
