Samsung's ATIV Book 6 Notebook Leaked
The newest member of Samsung's ATIV range of devices is a Windows 8 "clamshell style notebook PC" outfitted with a touchscreen.
The latest member of Samsung's range of ATIV Windows 8 devices made a brief appearance on Samsung's official site and was subsequently swiftly retracted. The ATIV Book 6 appears to be a standard, albeit upmarket, touchscreen notebook computer that is reportedly just one of a large range of upcoming clamshell style devices.
From the little we know of the Samsung ATIV Book 6's specifications, it will feature a 15.6" display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, an Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 8870M discrete graphics card. Also noted was eight hours of battery life and a 1 TB mechanical hard drive for storage, though we fully expect Solid State and Hybrid Drive options to also be available.
The ATIV Book 6 was listed as having a starting price of $1,200; no further information is available at this time.

BringMeAnother If it has the specs of an ultra book (the battery life suggest that it does), it could be quite an interesting product for gaming depending on the performance of the 8870M. Most gaming laptops with those specs are 6.7lb and last 3 hours.Reply
