EKWB Announces Two Gigabyte Z87X-OC Water Blocks
EKWB has introduced water cooling blocks for two of Gigabyte's Z87 motherboards.
EK Water Blocks has introduced water blocks for two motherboards: the Gigabyte Z87X-OC and the Gigabyte Z87X-OC Force. For the Z87X-OC, EKWB has released just one block kit; for the Z87X-OC Force, EKWB has released two SKUs of the same single-piece block.
The EK-FB KIT GA Z87X-OC is a kit consisting of two cooling blocks: one for the Z87 southbridge and another for the VRM circuitry.
EKWB's EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force blocks come in two versions. One is made of acetal and copper, while the other is made of acetal and nickel-plated copper. These two blocks are single piece blocks that stretch across the board and cool the Z87 southbridge, the VRM circuitry, as well as the PLX PCIe lane splitter.
All three blocks feature the high-flow design, meaning that they can be used in systems with weaker pumps or more complex loops.
The units' MSRPs are listed in the table below. All three units are already available in the EKWB webshop.
