    $450 for a midrange M2 drive? That's nuts. I can go to Newegg and get a Crucial P5, Intel 665P, or a WD SN750 for much less money and they're much better drives for the price.

    That was just some weirdness from WorstBuy.
    I wonder how many they sold at that $450 price.

    I'd say probably 0. I don't know if you could sell less than 0.

    I bought two WD SN750s - both were $130 a piece and both are great drives.

    For $5 more I can get a 1tb SK Hynix Gold P31 which is faster (read 3500mbps, write 3400mbps).
    That is regular price not sale price.
    Oh, and it is actually able to be shipped to where I live.

    So yeah, not really impressed.

    Tom's readers (and Best Buy shoppers) (and Tom's authors) (and Tom) are all totally unaware of the common prices of common items. They see a grossly inflated price... that's been reduced as.... "wow! what an amazing discount". They don't know they've been scammed. And Tom just helps spread the scan. Thanks Tom.
