First Episode Of 'The Walking Dead: Michonne' Arrives Feb 23
At The Game Awards, Telltale Games revealed its next project — The Walking Dead: Michonne. At the time, all we knew was that it was coming out in February, but now there’s an official release date for the game’s first episode.
The first chapter, titled “In Too Deep,” comes out on Feb. 23 and shows Michonne with a group of survivors aboard a ship called The Companion. The crew continues to search for supplies and survivors, but a call for help leads them to the scene of a massacre. Michonne and the rest of The Companion’s crew now have to figure out who is behind the killings.
Unlike Telltale’s The Walking Dead episodic game (which had a total of 10 episodes over two seasons), The Walking Dead: Michonne will have three episodes only. Episode two, “Give No Shelter,” arrives sometime in March, and the third and final chapter, called “What We Deserve,” will launch in April.
Even though the first episode comes out in less than two weeks, Telltale Games is hosting a livestream event on Feb. 14 at 5:30 pm PST, where players can watch the game’s first five minutes. The sneak peek will show Michonne’s struggle with her past as she tries to remain strong in her present situation.
You can buy the entire season when “In Too Deep” comes out on Feb. 23 for $14.99.
