A Spielbergian Stash
Aspiring filmmakers and prosumers will love the brand new Canon XL2 camcorder. This triple-CCD Mini-DV camcorder improves on the previous XL1 with an amazing set of features.
The camcorder can be shoulder held, giving a more professional impression, and has a Flourite 20X zoom lens. The XL2 can record in either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios. Framerate options are 60 interlaced, 30 progressive or the film-like 24 progressive. Two XLR audio jacks let you plug in professional quality mics.
The XL2 is currently available for $4,999. You can purchase it from major video vendors such as B&H Photo

We hope you enjoyed our gratuitous plug for the Mrs. Claus Fan Club. But, it wasn't all about her. We really did spend more time on the products. No, really... we can prove it!
There will always be people who want the best, biggest and fastest stuff and don't mind paying for it. On the high-end, the Digital Tiger displays and systems, Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II camera, OQO computer and Sager notebook will hit your pocketbook like a sledgehammer.
But back on earth - where oxygen is more plentiful - the Coldheat Tool and the ATech KB-Reader make great gifts. After all, some of us are on a budget. Either way, from the giant Digital Tigers displays to the ultra-small OQO computer, this Holiday Guide should have something for anyone.
We wish you a very happy holiday season and a prosperous new year.
