MPEG-2 encoding is easy with Pinnacle Studio 8.8: the Athlon 64 FX-51 performs roughly the same as the Intel P4 3.2. Due to its slower clock speed of 2000 MHz, the little Athlon 64 3200+ crumbles next to the FX-51.
