The upgrade was definitely worthwhile - with the new hardware, the XC Cube EX915-T now shows its quiet side. In the new revision, we can give our unqualified recommendation for this SFF PC as a system for the study and the living room alike. The Cube is no longer plagued by the loud fan noise of its predecessor, and even the short "howling" of the fans when the Cube is powered up is much less pronounced than before.
That leaves us with only one question: Why didn't they do it like this the first time?
And what does your future hold? Hazardous waste disposal or rare eBay item?
