Lexmark's X7350 all-in-one inkjet MFC is an excellent entry-level business machine fully capable of printing, copying, faxing and scanning a variety of documents and formats. It's a standard four color inkjet with an optional six-color photo printing capability rated up to 25 ppm black and white and 19 ppm in color at a duty cycle of 5,000 pages per month. In addition, this unit is compact for a flatbed multi-function printer. It measures 14.9" x 10.0" x 17.6" and weighs less than 20 lbs., so an average techie can easily carry it to the service counter.
The X7350 is relatively compact and offers a great combination of print, fax, scan and copy capabilities.
Ample ratings for light to medium office duties, combined with an intuitive, easy-to-learn interface and software bundle, make this a great starter package for growing home or small offices. Scanning on the flatbed is crisp and clean at enhanced resolutions of 19,200 x 19,200, which captures the finest quality details for presentation or post-processing applications. The copier paces at a casual 16 copies per minute (cpm) in color or up to 24 cpm in black and white for steady operation. Regardless of print speed, this unit produces good-quality resolution and great bang for the buck.
The X7350 is also USB compatible for easy plug-and-play operation, has an almost ubiquitous PictBridge feature for direct link-up with digital cameras and an optional Ethernet jack for better integration into existing office networks. For $115 online, the X7350 makes an attractive option as compared to less-capable desktop printers in the same price range.
