There are several reasons why the Viper II is so far behind everyone else in this test case. It is most likely the combination of driver maturity (this can be seen clearly at low resolutions) and the fact that D3 isn't using multi-texturing.
As we turn the resolution up, things begin to look better for the Viper II but it's still lagging behind the pack.
Nothing much chances are we pump the resolution up to the top. The Viper II doesn't perform too well in D3 without multi-texturing being used.
